Sports bring people together — across cultures, languages, and generations. At Oregon Rohingya Myanmar Muslim Society (ORMMS), we are proud to use soccer as a way to build leadership, teamwork, and health for our youth.
This year, we are thrilled to announce that ORMMS Soccer Team FC will be competing in the Burmese Soccer Tournament on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

The Burmese Soccer Tournament is more than just a game. It’s a celebration of culture, friendship, and unity among immigrant and refugee communities in Oregon. Families, youth, and supporters from across the region will gather to cheer, connect, and celebrate the love of soccer.
📅 Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025
📍 Location: PARKLAND PARK
⏰ Kick-off Time: 09:25 AM
💪 ORMMS Soccer Team FC
Our players represent the heart of ORMMS’s Active Youth Program. Many are young Rohingya and Burmese refugees who grew up playing soccer as a way to stay active and connected. Now, they are proud to step onto the field carrying not just a ball, but the hopes and dreams of their community.
Why it matters:
Soccer promotes teamwork and leadership
Sports provide safe spaces for youth development
Tournaments connect communities across cultures
Young players become role models for the next generation
🙌 Join Us!
We invite everyone to come out and support ORMMS Soccer Team FC at the Burmese Tournament. Bring your family, enjoy the matches, and celebrate community through sports.
📣 Together, let’s cheer for our team as they play with passion, pride, and unity!
At ORMMS, soccer is more than a sport — it’s a pathway to empowerment and belonging.
