ORMMS offers cultural adjustment support to help the Rohingya, Myanmar, all other immigrants and refugees community navigate their new life in Oregon.
This support includes resources and guidance on understanding American customs, laws, and systems such as education, healthcare, and employment. ORMMS provides workshops, mentorship, and community-building activities to help individuals and families adapt while maintaining their cultural heritage. By offering practical tools and a supportive network, ORMMS helps ease the transition for the Rohingya community, fostering a smoother integration into their new environment.

The Oregon Rohingya Myanmar Muslim Society (ORMMS) offers cultural adjustment support to help the Rohingya, Myanmar, all other immigrants and refugees community transition and adapt to life in Oregon. This program provides guidance on understanding and navigating American social norms, local customs, and systems, including education, healthcare, and legal frameworks. ORMMS offers workshops, peer mentoring, and resources to help individuals and families integrate into their new environment while preserving their cultural identity. By fostering cultural understanding and providing practical tools for adaptation, ORMMS helps the Rohingya community feel more confident and supported as they adjust to their new life in the U.S.
