At Oregon Rohingya Myanmar Muslim Society (ORMMS), we believe that strong cultural and spiritual foundations help our youth thrive. That’s why we’re proud to offer free Arabic and Islamic education classes for children and youth in our community.

🏫 About the Program

Our Arabic and Islamic classes are designed to support the religious and linguistic development of Rohingya, Burmese, and other Muslim children in Portland. We focus on:

• Qur’an reading and memorization

• Islamic values and daily practices

• Manners, prayer (salah), and community responsibility

Classes are taught by experienced instructors in a welcoming, respectful, and culturally relevant environment.

🚐 Free Transportation Available

We understand the challenges many families face getting to class. That’s why we offer free transportation (based on availability) for enrolled students. Safety and timeliness are our priorities, and we coordinate closely with parents to make this service accessible and efficient.

📝 How to Enroll

Enrollment is now open for the upcoming session! Space is limited, so we encourage families to register as soon as possible.

• Location: ORMMS Office

• Days: Monday thru Thursday

• Times: 5:30PM - 6:30PM

• Ages: 5 to 18 years
