Why Summer Meals Matter

Healthy meals play an important role in helping children learn, grow, and thrive. Access to nutritious food supports physical health, academic success, social development, and overall well-being.

Through the Summer Food Service Program, ORMMS is committed to helping families access nutritious meals and ensuring that children remain healthy and supported throughout the summer.

Supporting Families and Building Community

This program reflects ORMMS's ongoing commitment to serving immigrant, refugee, and underserved families in East Portland. By providing free meals in a welcoming community environment, we help create opportunities for youth to stay connected, active, and engaged during the summer months.

We encourage families, community partners, and supporters to help spread the word so that every eligible child and youth can benefit from this valuable program.
