Helping Children Stay Healthy, Nourished, and Active All Summer Long
Summer is a time for children to learn, play, explore, and enjoy being with friends. It should also be a time when every child has access to healthy, nutritious meals.
The Oregon Rohingya Myanmar Muslim Society (ORMMS) is proud to continue serving free healthy summer suppers for children and youth through the USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). This program helps ensure that young people continue to have access to nutritious meals during the summer months while also participating in youth activities, educational enrichment, and community programs.
If your child has not joined us yet, there is still plenty of time to participate!

Why Summer Meals Matter
For many families, school meals are an important source of daily nutrition. During summer break, access to healthy meals can become more challenging.
The USDA Summer Food Service Program helps bridge that gap by ensuring children continue to receive balanced, nutritious meals that support:
Healthy growth and development
Physical health
Learning and concentration
Energy for play and activities
Overall well-being
Healthy children are better prepared to learn, grow, and succeed.
Help Us Spread the Word
ORMMS encourages families, friends, neighbors, and community partners to share this information so every eligible child and youth can access healthy meals this summer.
