COMMUNITY RESOURCE NO-COST SOLAR FOR ELIGIBLE PORTLAND FAMILIES
ORMMS is pleased to share an upcoming clean-energy opportunity for Portland families through APANO and the Portland Solar Access Program.
The Portland Solar Access Program is a community-led collaboration involving Energy Trust of Oregon, APANO, Community Energy Project, and Self Enhancement, Inc. The program provides no-cost rooftop solar installations for income-qualified Portland families, helping participating households benefit from clean energy and potential long-term savings on energy bills. The initiative is supported in part by the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF).
Applications Expected to Reopen in October
According to the information shared with ORMMS by APANO, the program is not actively accepting new applicants yet, but APANO anticipates that enrollment will reopen in October 2026.
Community members can begin learning about the program now and determine whether their home may be a good candidate for solar.
The initial process includes checking eligibility and completing an online roof assessment.
